Our roots were planted in 1983 when David began his mortgage career in Denver. In 2013 we joined Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, one of the nation’s leading lenders. Today we have an incredibly talented and passionate team, innovative practices, and best-in-class technology. But some things haven't changed; we build relationships based on trust, expertise, and outstanding service.

David Andrews
Branch Manager
David’s career as a Mortgage Planner spans more than three decades. His leadership role within Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation began simply; with his determination to align himself with a company that set the bar, offering the highest standards of service, speed and customer satisfaction. That company is Fairway.
Year after year, David consistently ranks nationally among the top producing mortgage originators and branch managers. His longevity and stability in the marketplace have earned him a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable, credible and honest mortgage originators in Colorado.
A firm believer in continuing education and the need to adapt with the marketplace, David possesses a lengthy list of professional accreditations, licenses and certificates with an emphasis on lending, mortgage planning, and financial services.
Marilyn Barrett
Sales Manager
Marilyn began her career in the mortgage industry in 1981 and consistently ranks nationally among the top producing mortgage originators. She has a well-earned reputation as one of the most credible and honest mortgage originators in Colorado.
Marilyn emphasizes communication as her number one priority, making sure that her clients are in the know every step of the way. She’s passionate about advising and educating her customers on a broad spectrum of home financing strategies and believes that honesty and relatability provide vital peace of mind. She draws upon four decades of mortgage experience when asserting that those qualities also make the process as painless and seamless as possible.
Marilyn and her husband Dan enjoy spending time with their two grown children, Todd, and Shelby. Her interests include traveling, Pilates, and hiking with their English Cream Golden Retriever Cash. She is currently enjoying learning to play golf.
Laura Lynn Cosenza
VP Operations
Lara’s career started about 35 years ago working at a small town Savings & Loan in IL. It’s here that she found her passion for the Mortgage Loan industry. Over the years she has taken classes in Real Estate, Reviewing Tax Returns and Appraisals as well as Underwriting to hone her skills. Moving to CO in 2003 was a big change, and becoming a part of Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp and the David Andrews Group in 2014 was a perfect fit. This gave her the feel of a small town operation, but with all of the resources of a large company. It is also where she became licensed as a Mortgage Loan Originator. Moving into management with Fairway further allowed her to grow and keep pace with the changes in our marketplace. She loves to learn and to share her knowledge with others.
