The USDA loan program is specifically targeted to help low to moderate income borrowers in qualified rural areas and has specific requirements, some of these are:

  • There are maximum income limits – check your county’s USDA income limit or contact us for more information.
  • Applicant must not reasonably qualify for another loan program.
  • Must be borrower’s primary residence.
  • 30-year fixed rate terms.
  • Farms are not eligible for purchase with a USDA home loan.
  • Minimum credit score of 620.
